Shelley is a dedicated mental health social worker with over 10 years of experience, offering professional and compassionate support to adults, adolescents and children in the Port Macquarie Hastings area and via telehealth.
Shelley’s approach is person-centered and strength-based, ensuring each client feels heard, supported, and empowered in a safe, judgment-free space. With a special interest in women’s health, Shelley offers a compassionate and informed approach to addressing the unique challenges women may face. She is also deeply committed to trauma-informed care, understanding the impact of trauma on mental health and prioritising a safe, respectful, and empowering environment for her clients.
Prior to private practice, Shelley has experience in School Counselling for both Primary and High Schools. Shelley possesses an in-depth understanding of the education system and its challenges. Her experience continues to extend to working with adults, children, and families in community and non-government organisations.
In addition to direct client care, Shelley provides professional supervision for fellow social workers, students and those in the community services field.

Shelley provides professional supervision to social workers, students, and those within the community services field. Shelley is an accredited Mental Health social worker, currently working in private practice. Shelley is passionate in supporting social workers with their career goals and providing a safe space to debrief and advance your professional skills.
Shelley has interest in supporting those new to the social work world, social work students, school based social workers, and those new to private practice and going through the accreditation process.
